You will be my favorite person ever. I've been trying to get wine / winebottler to work but I'm a bit dumb when it comes to computers haha.

I did purchase the game and would love to play, so if there is a way to get it running before the beta is released that would be excellent! If not I will continue to watch videos and lurk in the forums!

The sooner the better! Even with the help of Patchumz can't seem to get it to work with Wine..

I downloaded wine and winebottler ... I open up the winebottler and select to make a package for mac, I get to the end of the install then there is an error, afterward I am able to open the Cobalt package (it takes me to login screen) but when I login same error D:

Edit: Am I assuming correctly that I need to create a blank wrapper when I start up Wineskin?

I tried using your wrapper, but I couldn't connect to log in server. After that, I tried playing offline. It loaded up but when I got to the part where the title screen is supposed to pop up I got the music but no video. I was playing out of full screen, because full screen wouldn't work.

you have to play it in fullscreen or it doesn't work, or you might have to update wine.
Edit: it works either way so you might have to update wine

Yesh ... Yesh ... Yeeeessshhhhhh!

The login screen won't connect to the server but offline is working so far if I just let it sit for awhile. I thought it froze at first but it eventually kicked on and the game is looking beautiful! Thank you!

I ended up figuring out how to work on my own but it's good to know there's an alternative.
