[DMTKiller]

I am new to making maps for any game and I want to know what the community thinks of my map! I recommend that you play it with more than 3 bots, but it will work with just the normal amount in the map editor.

Instructions:
1. Download the map.
2. Put it inside your "map_dev" folder inside the Cobalt game directory.
3. Start up the game and press F2. You will enter Dev Mode.
4. Now press F7 to enter the Map Editor.
5. Go up to "File" and press "Open".
6. The map should be named "dm_OilField.map", click that and press "ok".
7. Now press F5 to start the map up.
8. Now just press start or "x" and pick your person.

Back Story:

Metalface inc. is a Earth-based company that deals with oil and gas. Earth was running low on oil so a few years before that the Global Earth Government sent a group of Metalface's (Human brains inside a robot exoskeleton designed for deep space exploration) to a new planet now called Black Horizon to set-up an oil refinery. However, a few months ago the Global Earth Government found out that the Metalface's sent to Black Horizon were killed by group of mercenaries called the Blueface Mercenaries. Now it's up to you and your team to save man-kind and re-capture the Oil Field from the Blueface Mercenaries. Choose your side will you be a Metalface or a Blueface Mercenary in the fight for oil!

I just noticed. You took my instructions. I wouldn't mind but I noticed something, it doesn't make sense for this map. It has extra instruction not needed and it has my map name in it. It might mislead someone.

So far it looks like just you and me have made death match levels, I think everyone prefers survival, I hated the survival level it was way to hard to get energy. Even on 2 player the best we did was like 800 energy overall...

Anyways great looking map! your video is the only reason I knew about AI nodes and the music adding so thx!

Just dl'd and played your map, wish I would have known about it yesterday when i had like 10 people here

I made a deathmatch map that fit my way of deathmatch. I love throwing objects such as grenades. Explosions. <3

Can you make a version that doesn't have the 'Created by DMTkiller' lights on it?

I'm not trying to steal it or anything; it's an amazing map.

I just feel that it detracts from the overall slickness of the map. Having these scribbled letters right below where I'm fighting makes the map feel less immersive.

I don't feel like I'm playing in a stormy area of the game world, I feel like I'm playing on a canvas.

The back story needs a little work because there's not really a particular enemy, because everyone's playing against each other.
I think the oil pumping station was long disused when in the past earth no longer had oil to drill (it's running out in like 40 yrs irl) and so during a war between types of supersoldiers known as Metalfaces occurred, the oil pumping station was a major base and is now being fought over by multiple factions.

I'm sorry but i found a error in your map:
The Rail Gun guns are not destroyed when they hit the roof. Thats cause a unnecessary slow motion, and a script error.
